Football!

Last Friday we finally made it to one of Fowler High Schools home football games.  We had the priviledge of taking our grandsons with us.  We arrived at the game towards the end of the junior varsity game and found our place in the north endzone.  What a great place to watch the game from.  First of all there is all sorts of space and your are not crowed and then you have a lovely breeze that keeps you cool and comfortable.  Unfortunately Fowler lost to Central Valley Christian out of Visalia.  Oh well, there is always the varsity game!

There was some really delicious food for sale.  Dewayne and the boys enjoyed tri tip sandwiches and I had a tostada bowl!  Yummy!  Our neighbors Lupe and Cruz joined us for the game.

Well a very short time into the first quarter of the varsity game the power went out in the stadium! We all hung around for about a half hour and then they announced that the game would resume at 10 am Saturday morning! Unfortunately we were unable to attend but this experience did not deter us from going again. We plan to be there this Friday to see the crowning of Miss Fowler Fall Festival!
